Skillet cream corn



The ingredients: 


  •     2 (10 ounce) packages frozen corn kernels, thawed
  •     1 teaspoon salt (or to taste, I use seasoned salt)
  •     1 cup whipping cream, unwhipped
  •     2 tablespoons sugar
  •     2 tablespoons butter
  •     1 pinch garlic powder (optional I like to add it in)
  •     1 cup full-fat milk
  •     2 tablespoons flour
  •     ground black pepper (to taste)
  •     1⁄4-1⁄3 cup grated parmesan cheese



Directions


  1.     Firstly, Over medium heat,   In a large skillet  combine corn,salt, pepper, sugar garlic powder,  whipping cream,  and butter.
  2.     In a small bowl whisk together the full-fat milk with flour, then stir/add to the corn mixture; cook stirring over medium heat until  the corn is cooked through and the mixture has thickened.
  3.     Remove from heat then add in the grated Parmesan cheese; stir till exhaustively combined and melted.
  4.     Season with black pepper and  more salt  if desired.
  5.     enjoy and Serve hot.
