Crunchy Chinese Salad


The ingredients: 
 
For salad:
  • 1 large head Napa cabbage, chopped
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 5 green onions, diced
  • 1/2 cup sesame seeds
  • 2 packages ramen noodles (discard soup flavoring)
  • 1 small package sliced almonds
For dressing:

  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1 cup sugar

Directions


  1. Firstly, First mix cabbage and onions in a large bowl, set aside.
  2. Secondly, Melt butter  over medium heat in a frying pan . 
  3. After that, Break noodles in small pieces and brown along with  almonds and  sesame seeds. Cool and drain on paper towels.
  4. Thirdly, To make dressing, mix all ingredients and microwave   together  to dissolve the sugar. 
  5. Before serving Let cool  (about 20 minutes). Dressing can be made a day ahead of time.
  6. Finally, Toss together all salad ingredients and add dressing, just before serving.
