Honey glazed ham



The ingredients: 

  •     1 (5 pound) ready-to-eat ham
  •     2/3 cup butter 
  •     1/4 cup dark corn syrup
  •     1/4 cup whole cloves
  •     2 cups honey

    
Directions


  1.     Firstly, Preheat oven to  (165 degrees C)  325 degrees F.
  2.     After that, Score ham, and stud with the whole cloves. Place ham in foil lined pan.
  3.     heat the corn syrup, honey and butter  In the top half of a double boiler,. Keep glaze warm while baking ham.
  4.     Brush glaze over ham, and bake in the preheated oven for  75 minutes   
  5.     Baste ham every 10 to 15 minutes with the honey glaze. During the last 4 to 5 minutes of baking, to caramelize the glaze YOU NEED TO turn on broiler . 
  6.     Finally, Remove from oven, and before serving ,  let sit  a couple of minutes .
