Grandma's Corn Bread Dressing




The ingredients: 


  •     1 (16 ounce) package dry corn bread mix
  •     1/2 cup chopped celery
  •     2 tablespoons butter
  •     1 small onion
  •     salt and pepper to taste
  •     2 cups chicken stock
  •     2 eggs, beaten
  •     2 tablespoons dried sage

    

Directions


  1.  Firstly, Prepare the dry corn bread mix according to package directions. After that Cool and crumble.
  2. Preheat oven to (175 degrees C)  350 degrees F,  Grease one 9x13 inch baking dish.
  3. Melt the butter and saute the celery and onion  In a large skillet over medium heat until soft.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the celery,eggs, chicken stock, sage,  onions, 3 cups crumbled corn bread,  and salt and pepper to taste; mix well.
  5. Finally, Place into prepared dish and bake at (175 degrees C) 350 degrees F  for half-hour.
